The brief

Turning any address into a measured bid.

Exterior contractors usually drive out to measure every lead, and homeowners wait days for a number. Measured Bid measures the house from aerial roof data and prices it with the contractor's own rates, so a first estimate starts from an address.

The product works two ways from one engine. A contractor's team prices jobs in the dashboard, with measurements and line items. The same engine runs as a widget on the contractor's website, where homeowners see a price range and send their request with the measurements attached. Gutters, painting, siding, roofing, and permanent lighting each have their own questions and pricing.

The homepage shows the product at work: gutter runs measured on the eaves of a sample house, then an itemized estimate from the same pricing engine the dashboard uses.

Product & experience

One measurement, two ways to use it.

Measure once, price per trade

The engine reads the roof planes from aerial data and derives what each trade prices: gutter footage along the eaves, paintable wall area, roof squares, and roofline footage for lighting. Measured runs are numbered, and the estimator or homeowner can remove a run that isn't part of the job or add one the aerial view missed.

Use the contractor's numbers

Each trade has a pricing editor for rates by story and material, removal, minimums, and how wide the range should be. Team estimates show line items. Homeowners always see a range, never a single figure, and a widget never shows prices until the contractor confirms their own rates.

Let the product make the case

The marketing site leads with a sample house whose gutter runs draw onto the eaves, an itemized estimate from the engine, and screen recordings of both uses. Visitors can enter an address and create a free account that opens on their first estimate, and each trade has its own page with a sample estimate and FAQs.
